CYCLING ON WATER.
NOVEL TYPE OF MACHINE. ENGLISH CHANNEL CROSSED. A. and N.Z. PARIS. Nov. 17. A Frenchman, Rene Savard, added to the list of Channel crossings to-day by pedalling a water-cycle from Calais to Dover in six hours. The craft consists of a bicycle set on floats, the pedals working a paddle wheel.
