LORRY OVER EMBANKMENT.
LONG FALL TO BEACH. OCCUPANTS ESCAPE LIGHTLY. [BI TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] EAWENE. Friday. A motor-lorry, driven by Mr. A. Perkins, who was accompanied by Mr. F. Baker, went over an embankment at a bend on Barrier Road, Kohukohu, yesterday afternoon and fell 40ft. It eventually landed on the beach. Both occupants had a marvellous escape. They were thrown out half-way down the bank and sustained various mipor cuts and bruises. The {orry was extensively damaged.
