Advance payments to. be made this month by dairy companies in the Waikato on milk and cream supplied last month include the following:—New Zealand Co-operative Company: Butter, Is 4d per lb.; cheeso, Is 6d. Cambridge Company: Butter, Is 5d per lb.; cheese. Is 6d. Norfolk Company: Cheese, Is 6d per lb. Sunny Park Company: Butter, Is 5d per lb.; cheese, Is sd. Te Aroha Company: Butter, Is 5d per lb. Te Awamutu Company: Butter, Is. 5d per lb. Tatua Company: Cheese, Is 54 per lb. Raglan Company: Butter, Is 4d per lb. Hinuera Company: Butter. Is 5d per lb. The factories record increases of from 20 to 44 per cent, in the quantity of butter-fat received in October compared with the same month last year. POET ALBERT CO-OPERATIVE. The Port Albert Co-operative Dairy Company, Ltd., is paying out this month for cream supplied during October at tha rate of- Is 4d per lb. of butter-fat for superfine, with the usual deductions for first and second grades. Approximately 30 tons of butter were mado in October, an increase of 30cwt. on October, 1926. With the exception of one consignment of 80 boxes, all the butter was graded finest at the export grading stores in Auckland. Up to the end of October 70 tons of butter had been made, compared with 61 tons for the same period Inst year, an increase of nine tons. 4 The dairy farmers of the district art* taking advantage of the low prices for manures, largo quantities' being : purchased. Every season sees an increase . in the amount of manure used for topdressing and the reduction in prices has been a great help to the farmers. THE WHANOAROA CONCERN. GREAT INCREASE IN SUPPLY.[BY TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORESPONDENT.] ; SAEO, Friday. The Whangaroa Dairy Company's payout on October butter-fat is Is 3£d per lb. for finest and Is 3d for first* grade. The increase in output for October, compared with October, 1926, was, 5i tons. The number of suppliers is now over 160, and the quantity of cream supplied is still increasing. The peak is not yet in sight. Light rain has fallen this week, but more is needed. THE BAY OF ISLANDS COMPANY, GOOD QUALITY OF OUTPUT. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] WHANGAREI. Friday. The Bay of Islands Dairy Company, Ohaewai, will pay out £7545 for butter-fat received during October, the advance being at the rate- of Is 3£d and. Is 4d . per lb., compared with £4200 for October of last season, when the advance waa lid and lljd per lb. The increase of butterfat is 25£ per cent, over that for October of last year. The average grade of cream received at the factory was:—Finest, 66.4 per cent.; first grade, 32.8 per cent. 5 and second gyade,' 8 per cent.* Since October 18 all butter forwarded iori export has graded 93 points, with the exception of one small parcel, which graded 92 points. It is intended to make a final payment for the 1926-27 season on December 20. AUCKLAND COMPANIES.
