NO PRESENT ENGAGEMENTS* t ' [BY TELEGRAPH. —PB.ESS ASSOCIATION.] WELLINGTON. Friday. It is , expected that the Governors General will be confined to Government Houso for some time, and on the recommendation of his medical advisers Hi# Excellency has cancelled his more immediate public engagements. The garden party, which was to have been held at Government House next Tuesday, ha* been postponed to a date to be announced, but other Government House functions for which invitations wera issued by Their Excellencies for the last week in November will take place, unr less notification is made later to the contrary. In the opinion of His Excellency's physicians, however, it will not be advisable for him to undertake for several weeks public engagements outside Government House.
