CONFIDENCE IN PRESIDENT.
A TESTIMONIAL SUGGESTED. (Received November 11, 5.5 p.m.) A. and N.Z -Sun. LONDON. Nov 10. At the annual conference of the Sailors and Firemen's Union, a resolution of con fidonce in the president, Mr. J. Have lock Wilson, was carried. The conference also approved the expulsion of officials from a number of the branches. It was suggested that substantial subscriptions should be sought from the unions as a testimonial to Mi. Wilson. Ihis matter was discussed in private.
