A TRAMWAY RIDDLE.
Sir,—On the Remuera tramline there may be some sufficient reason why all traffic to and from the city should be delayed while the conductor performs some occult operation on the clock at Market Road stop, approximately three miles from the G.PO.; but, who, in all creation, could conjure up any sane reason for again stopping to tinker with another clock at Ranui Road stop, barely a mile further on the same line, unless it be to waste time and cause irritation to the tramway's clients. Surely all that is necessary to abolish this absurdity is to bring it before th® notice of our experts on the tramway committee. Outlook.
