GARDEN PARTY.
A most enjoyable garden party was given by Mrs. David Nathan at her The Hill, Manurewa, on Saturday afternoon for the delegates to the recent Plunket Society conference and friends. Mrs. Nathan received her guests in tha spacious hall, which was beautifully decorated with bowls of pastel-shaded flowers and tall palms. Afternoon tea was served on the side porch. Mrs. Nathan wore s charming frock of ivory figured crape do chine, with a grey Kashir coat and black picture hat. Among the guests were: Lady SinclairLockhart, Mrs. W. H. Parkes, Mrs. A. M. Fergusson, Mrs. Yock, Sirs. Greville, Mrs. J. Hodgson, Mrs. A. Hodgson, Mrs. Macky, Mrs Woodhead, Mrs. Cruickshank, Mrs. Wurreil, Mrs. Coldicutt, Mrs. Houldsworth, Mrs. Straw, Mrs. Rnshton, Mrs. J. Frater, Mrs. Marlar, Mrs. 3. Steven#, Mrs. Astley, Mrs. G. Fowlds, l'nr., Sirs. Jones, Mrs. Cobb, Mrs. Wily, Mrs. McPhee, Mrs. Carter. Mrs. Mrs. Mrs. McLaren, Mrs. Clark, Mrs. Hamilton, Mrs. Lewis, Mrs. Durrant, Mrs. Robinson, Mrs. Brocklebank, Mrs. Perkins, Mrs, Vickery, Mrs. Holloway, Mis.
