TAKAPUNA GIRL GUIDES.
SIXTH ANNIVERSARY* The first company of Takapuna Girt Guides celebrated its sixth anniversary on Saturday evening at St. Peter s parish hall, when the Milford and Takapuna brownies were entertained at tea, followed by an enjoyable evening, when a playlet, " The Camp Fire," was enacted. Among those present were the New Zealand Girl Guide Commissioner. Mrs. W* R. Wilson, the acting president of th# Takapuna Guides, Mrs. Julius Williamson, *nd the acting district commissioner of North Shore, Mrs. R. Usher. One of the most interesting items of th* evening was the enrolment ceremony, when two guides were promoted to th® rank of leaders.
