WIRELESS EXPERIMENT
BROADCAST FROM SYDNEY. REPORTS OF RECEPTIONS. A. and N.Z LONDON, Oct. 27 The trial broadcast from station 2FC, Sydney, was interfered with by a gale, but the music was recognisable between the atmospherics. The British Broadcasting Corporation suggests that Sydney should reserve the best part of the Sunday programme till between 6.15 p.m. and 6.45 p.m. A message from New York says the Schenectady station, WGY, of the General Electric Company rebroadcast a short wave musical programme from station 2FC, Sydney. The signals were clear, although there was considerable interference by statics.
