A largo number of tho new enrolment forma printed last Saturday have been sent in, but 1 am sorry to say nearly half of them had to be thrown away aa the senders neglected the instructions to cross out either " pen-friends " or " artists." Therefore, I hud no means of knowing which circle they wished to enter. This shows onco again how necessary it is for boys and girls to read their page carefully —it is no use simply signing an enrolment form, and neglecting the promise it contains, to read the page carefully, when you break the rules on the very form you sign! No enrolments in our circles will now be made save from the printed form in our page to-day. Full names must be given in every instance, not initials. It is not necessary fOr girls to sign themselves as " Miss," as wo never would think of addressing little girls of nine or ten as " Mrs! " At the same time, children with uncommon names, or names that might belong to either sex, are requested always to state whether boys or girls. Such names as " Eoyce," " Alwyn," and " Noel " are apt to be confusing. Boys and girls who omitted to fill m enrolment form correctly last week may forward a fresh one. Ewy boy and girl who has written a letter, sent a painting or other competition entry of any description to " Boys and Girls " is entitled to membership in our Circles. if you have not yet fulfilled this requirement, please do not apply for membership until you have.
