, OPENING PRACTICES. The University, Ponsonby and Parnell Cricket Clubs will hold opening practices this afternoon. The annual meeting of the Pukekohe Cricket Association was held last evening, the president, Mr. J. F. Deane, presiding. Delegates were present from the four affiliated clubs, Pukekohe, Franklin Old Boys, Wesley College and Pukekohe Technical High School. The secretary, Mr. J. K. Bonner, reported that last year, which was the association's first season, four teams had competed in the association's competition, and High School had won. Representative matches had also been played, in which the association had acquitted itself creditably. The financial statement showed revenue £9, and expenditure £7, leaving a credit balance of £2. Officers elected were:—Patron, Mr. J. Roulston; president, Mr. Deane; vicepresidents, Messrs. J. B. Brown, R. C. Clark, W. Dazeley and W. F. J. Munro; secretary and treasurer, Mr. A. V.
