OH INEMURI COUNTY ROADS. [BY TELEGRAPH, —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] PAEROA, Friday. At a meeting of the Ohinemuri County Council yesterday the engineer, Mr. E. Shaw, reported that 80yds. of metal would put the Mill Road in good order tor traffic j 100 yds. of metal and gravej was wanted for roads in the Kaimanawa Riding and 40yds. for the Main Road in the Waitekauri Riding. A crossing on the Pohu Road, in the Karangahake Riding, required immediate attention. it was decided to adopt the report and authorise repairs as specified. At a meeting of the Thames Valley Jersey Club it was decided to request the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company to arrange for a sale of pedigree stock, of all breeds and both sexes, at the Paeroa yards on October 20. It was thought that at least 35 Jersey cattle of good lineage would be offered; It was decided to request breeders desirous of being represented on the official programme to forward entries to the secretary, Mr. b, Lawrence.
