RODNEY COUNTY NOTES.
[BY TKLF.GR A PR. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] WARKWORTH, Wednesday. The Rodney County Council at its last meeting accepted a number of tenders for the supply of road metal. The works committee's recommendations that a 6-ton road roller should he purchased, and that plans should be drawn up of proposed alterations to riding boundaries, were adopted. A deputation from Pakiri ratepayers waited on the council asking that portion of the royalty on timber collected from that district should be allocated to the Pakiri River Road. The council decided that the royalty must be spent on a road giving actress to the area from which timber is taken—in this case, the Arai Road. Arrangements were authorised for the supply of 2350 yds. of metal for the Te Hana Tomorata Road, and for the quarrying and crushing of 2000 yds, of metal At Mount Brains, Port Albert,
