HOWICK INTERESTS.
REPAIRS TO THE WHARF. The Howick Town Board met on Tuesday evening, the chairman, Mr. J. Crawford, presiding. The Marine Department notified it was prepared to grant £SO toward the repair of the Howick Wharf, subject to the board increasing the amount to £l5O. It was decided to accept the department's offer. It was decided to raise & loan of £1250 to complete the purchase of the section for new offices for the board and to proceed tv ith the building. The raising" of the street improvements loan, formerly agreed to, was deferred. The new survey pian of the town boundaries was approved. It was decided to improve the condition of Baird Street when the weather is suitable for carting metal.
