THE WHANGAREI CLUB. [r.Y TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT. ] WHANGAREI, Wednesday. Ther was a good attendance of members at the annual meeting of the Whangurei Cycling Club this evening. Mr. A. Weir presided. Officers were elected as follows:—Patron. Mr. W. Jones, M.P.; presidents. Messrs. C. 11. Chissetl and the Mayor. Mr. L. J. Brake; vice-presidents. Messrs. T. Masse;, B. Bray, H Hannam, W. Slade Clarke and J. Young; executive committee Mr. Weir, jun. (chairman). Messrs. B. Weir, W. Stewart, S. Hoey. G. Postlewaite, 11. Preebc; secretary and treasurer, Mr. C. CiTissell; judge, Mr. A. Weir; timekeeper, Mr. Hannam; handicapper, Mr. Slade Clarke. i The first 'race will be held on the last Saturday of tbe present month, conditions permitting.
