BUS AXLE BREAKS.
TWO WHEELS ROLL AWAY. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN COI! RESPONDENT. ] WHANGAREI. Thursday. While tho Onerahi-Whangaroi bus was ascending the hill near Mr. G. Hawkes' property this morning, the front axle broke in two places, and tho wheels separated and rolled away. The vehicle toro up the road for 40ft. before it effwe to a standstill. No one was hurt.
