TABLE TENNIS.
AUCKLAND ASSOCIATION, The Auckland Table Tennis Association defeated the Y.M.C.A. Club in the Y.M.C.A. concert chamber by 10 matches to 6 after many interesting pames had been contested. At the conclusion of the match the Y.M.C.A. provided their guests with supper. The following are the results, the Y.M.C.A/ players bcinc mentioned first:— Miller beat Foprarty. 32—30. 31—25; Miller beat Wood, 31—20, 27—31. 31—23; Miller beat R. K. Wylie. 31—20, 31—19; Paton beat Fogarty, 31—17, 31—10; Paton beat Wood, 31—23, 31—19; Paton beat R. K. Wylie, 31 —15, 31—15: Herbert lost to Fogarty. 25—31,' 25—31 : Herbert lost to Wood, 23—31, 31—29, 20—31; Herbert lost to R. K. Wylie, 20—31, 31—23, 25—31; Adair lost to Honeycombe, 27—31, 2f>—3l; Adair lost to Le Petit, 30—32. 32—30, 29—31; Smith lost to Honeycombe. 2G—3l, 31 —23 , 27—31; Smith lost to Cowdery, 2-I—3l, 22—31; Smith lost, to Le Petit. 27—31, 28—31; Shepherd lost to Honeycombe, 2G--31, 23—31; Shepherd lost to Cowdery, *28 —31, 24—31. . Several matches were also played by Mrs., Massey. Miss P. Miller and Miss B. Connell. Mrs. Massey won both her matches.
