Brisbane, 4QG (385 metres). —8 p:m., stories for children by "The Sandman"; 8.30 p.m., news service; 9.30 p.m., relay musical session under the auspices of the Workers' Educational Association; 10.30 p.m., vocal and instrumental items from the studio. ITEMS OP INTEREST. Of interest to motorists will be a talk to be given by Mr. George Campbell at 7.30 p.m. from the Auckland station this evening. A very fine programme will be relayed from John Court, Limited, by the local station this evening. Included among the artists will be Miss Ina Thomson, one of the leading vocalists of the city. The first half of this evening's programme to be sent out, by the Wellington station will be devoted to the Radio four, a versatile combination, which will entertain in a number of ways. The second portion of the programme will comprise high-class vocal and instrumental items. A feature of the Christchurch station's programme for this evening will be a concert by Mrs. J. E. Russell's Ladies' Glee Club, which will provide a number of popular part-songs and glees. Friday is dance-day at the Dunedin station. There will be dance music in the afternoon, and at 9 p.m. the station will tune-in to the Savoy Cabaret. Mr. Kenneth Impett, v the Auckland baritone, will sing from the Melbourne station this evening. He is timed to commence at 9.37, New Zealand time, and his numbers will be " Ho! Jolly Jenkin " from " Ivanhoe " and "To Mary (Maude Valerie White). TO-MORROWS FEATURES. Two hours' dance mnaic will be relayed by the Auckland station from the Click Clack Cabaret to-morrow evening. *■ The relay will commence at nine o'clock and will be preceded by, an hour's concert from the studio. A description of the representative Rugby match,, Wellington v. Otago, will be relayed by the Wellington station from Athletic Park to morrow afternoon. A feature of the concert programme to be broadcast between eight and nine o'clock will bo selections by the Island Bay Boomerang Mouth Organ Band. Then will follow a relay of dance music. The Christchurch programme arranged for to-morrow evening provides for vocai and instrumental items between eight and nine o'clock to be followed by an hour's dance music. The Dunedin station always remains silent on Saturday. On Saturdays, Australian stations always make a feature of dance music. New Zealand listeners tuning in about 11.30 to the Sydney stations, 2FC and 2BL, the Melbourne station 3LO, and the Brisbane station, 4QG, should be able to pick up music by some of Australia's best bands.
