GERMAN-MADE POPPIES.
•INDIGNATION IN ENGLAND. At a conference of the Hertfordshire County Committee of the British Legion, at St. Albans, lately the following resolution was passed:—"That this conference records Its extreme indignation that poppies made in Germany were sold in the Empire on last Armistice Day and calls on headquarters to take effective measures to prevent a recurrence of this scandalous insult to the fallen."
