PARNELL LICENCES.
BRIEF COMMITTEE MEETING. The business before the ParnetT Licensing Committee yesterday was transacted in about one minute. Mr. E. C. Cutten, S.M., presided. The clerk said the police report showed the hotels in the district were being conducted satisfactorily. An application had been received for the transfer of the licence of the Alexandra Hotel from John O'Sullivan to Robert Duncan Rugg, and the application was in order. Mr. Cutten: It is granted. This must be a record.
