DISTRIBUTION OF PRIZES. WILD WAVE WINS POINTS FLAG. Tho Akarana Yacht Club held its annual distribution of prizes and dance in the Masonic Hall. Belgium Street, last evening. There was a very large attendance, including representatives of tho various yacht and launch clubs. The prizes made a fine showing and included sis valuable cups, ton coils of rope and many other useful articlqs for use both ashore and ufloat. In distributing the trophies. Mr. H O Wiles, vice-president, said the club had had another successful season and it was pleasing to announce that a start would be made on the new clubhouse in Mechanics' Buy at an early date. He appealed to all present to assist the club in its efforts to procure a home of its own.
