SITHONIA TO LOAD SULPHUR. Messrs. Robert Millar and Company have received advice; that the British steamer Sithonia has been chartered to load sulphur at Texas during September for Auckland, Lvttciton, and other New Zealand ports. DREDGE KORUA. The Gisborne Harbour Board's dredge Korua, having completed overhaul, went to Islington Bay yesterday to have her compasses adjusted. She will leave there to-day for Gisborne if the weather is favourable. R.M.M.S. AORANGI IN PORT. The Royal Mail liner Aorangi arrived from Sydney yesterday morning and berthed at Prince's Wharf. She is scheduled to resume her voyape to Suva, Honolulu and Vancouver at eleven o'clock this morning. SCHOONER MARORO REPORTED. The auxiliary schooner Maroro, en route from Gisborne to Australia, was passed by the Royal Mail liner Aorangi at eleven o'clock on Sunday morning. The schooner was 23 miles north of the Three Kings. The wind was light easterly, and the weather was fine and clear. KATOA POSTPONED. The Katoa did not complete loading operations last night as was expected. In conaeguence her departure for Wellington, Dunedin, Oamaru and Timaru has been postponed until three o'clock this aiternoon. TILE HINEMOA. The Government steamer Hinemoa sailed last evening for Niue Island. She is duo back at Auckland on September 13, and the following day she is to be despatched for Norfolk Island. ROTORUA FROM SOUTHAMPTON. The New Zealand Shipping Company's liner Rotorua is scheduled to leave Southampton next Friday with passengers, mail and cargo for New Zealand. The cargo is for discharge at Auckland and Wellington. She is due at Auckland on October 8. THE SOUTHERN CROSS. The Mission steamer Southern Cross was removed from her moorings in the stream to the Queen's Wharf yesterday to refit in preparation for her coming cruise to the mission stations in the south-west Pacific. She is to leave Auckland about September 20. THE WAIRUNA. The Union Company's transpacific cargo steamer Wairuna is to sail this evening ' for Wellington, Melbourne and Sydney in continuation of her voyage from Pacific Cop.st ports.' She is taking cargo from Auckland for Australia. MESOPOTAMIA FROM JAVA. The British Invicta Shipping Company's steamer Mesopotamia, 4363 tons, has been chartered to load sugar at Java for Auckland. The vessel visited this port in May, 1926, when she brought cargo from Florida. Her former name was the Ardgowen. THE OCEAN TRANSPORT. An expected arrival toward the end of this week is the steamer Ocean Transport. The vessel has a sulphur cargo froia Galveston. Texas, and she cleared Panama on August 3 for Auckland, New Plymouth and Newcastle. Messrs. R. Miliar and Company are the local agents. CAMBRIDGE FOR LOADING. The New Zealand Shipping Company advises that the Federal Line steamer Cambridge is due at Auckland on Thursday from Tokomaru Bay to complete loading refrigerated and general cargo for New lork, Boston London.
