RAID ON ZEEBRUGGE.
COMMEMORATION CEREMONY EXPLOIT OF BRITISH NAVY. (British Official Wireless.) A. and N.Z. RUGBY, Aug. 26. Fifty officers and men who took part in the raid on the mole at Zeebrugge in 1918 left this evening for a series of receptions at Ostend, Brussels and Zeebrugge. On Sunday a commemorative tablet will be unveiled on the Zeebrugge viaduct, to mark the spot where the British submarine C 3 blew a breach 150 ft. wide on the night of the raid. The unveiling ceremony will be performed by four of the men who took the C 3 to Zeebrugge.
