SILVER WEDDING.

* ENJOYABLE DANCE. In celebration of their silver wedding Mr and Mrs. W B. Lloyd gave a dance on Friday evening at The Croft, Otahuhu, which was much enjoyed. Quantities of lovely flowers decorated the rooms. In the drawing room and verandah great boushs of camellias were charmingly arranged, with low, flat bowls of violets and primroses, and in the dining-room, where supper was served, the table was artistically arranged with Iceland poppies. Mrs. Lloyd received her guests wearing a frock of midnight blue georgette. Miss Lloyd was in a frock of rose patterned ninon edged with tiny ruchings of rose taffeta. Mrs. Swabey wore saxe blue chiffon velvet; Mrs. Bradley, gold lace over gold, tissue; Mrs. Colbeck, black taffeta embroidered in Oriental silks; Mrs. Godfrey, frock of brown and maize lace; Mrs E Anderson, black pleated georgette and silver lace; Mrs. H. Bull, Waded frock in shades of claret and gold; Mrs. Waller, frock of beige lace over georgette; Mrs Bickerton Fisher, powder blue beaded georgette; Mrs. Louisson, cyclamen crepe de chine embroidered in silver bugle beads; Mrs. Sidney Thorne George, salmon pink georgette encrusted with bronze sequins; Mrs. Lingard, apricot lace; Macßae Peacock, black taffeta; Mrs. H. Hanna, shaded frock of beige lace; Mrs Fairclough, fuchsia romaine frock trimmed with fur; Mrs. Seymour Colbeck, tangarine beaded georgette; Miss Vaile, rose taffeta sashed in blue; Miss Waller, mauve taffeta; Miss Rogers, frock of ciel blue; Miss M. Jackson terracotta-shaded romaine; Miss V. Jackson, maize georgette; Miss Colbeck, rose taffeta sashed in blue; Miss Anderson, black and white satin and panne velvet; Miss Fullerton, raio-bow-shaded taffeta.
