Vincent last evening:— Cold and wintry weather is indicated and conditions will bo unsettled and boisterous generally, with heavy rain at intervals. North-westerly to westerly winds, strong to gale, and squally. Seas heavy. An intense Antarctic disturbance is centred on the south-west Tasman Sea, barometric pressure being very low in that area, but will increase everywhere shortly, accompanied by heavy south-westerly gales and flooded rivers, especially in western districts. Cyclonic conditions are expected, due to the existence of two separate storm systems, operating over the Dominion, and shipping, both on the west and east coasts, is warned.
