BOWLING.
MATCHES IN AUCKLAND. Owing to heavy rain bowling clubs were unable to continue their competitions on Saturday. There was no play on the Carlton green, the Edwin Stars match being abandoned. At Rawhiti a club match was played, resulting ns follows:—R. Walker, Martin, Savin, Thomson, 22, v. Hamlin, Wayte, Hardcastle, Macpherson, 14; Cameron, Jackson. Scelly, Stubbs, 23, v. Lambert, Mckenzie, Moncur, Scarborough, 19.
