LATE MR. V. H. SANSON.

IMPRESSIVE FUNERAL. [BY telegraph.—own correspondent.] HAMILTON, Sunday. . The very high esteem in which the late Mr. V H. Sanson, deputy-official assignee, was held by all sections of the community was shown by the exceptionally large attendance at his funeral today. The first part of the service was read in' St. Peter's Cathedral by tha Rev. S. R. Wareing, and the - interment took place in the Masonic cemetery, Hamilton East. The funeral procession' was fully a mile in length. The Masonic service at the grave was conducted by Mr Carrick Kisbet. Among those present were representatives of Masonic and Oddfellows' lodges, and the legal and accountancy professions. There were many beautiful wreaths.
