CONVICTION EXPUNGED.
SUMMONSES NOT SERVED. A conviction recorded against C. M. Becroft in the Magistrate's Court on August 12, on charges of selling milk with added water and deficient in milk solids, lias been expunged from the Court records. The case was heard in the defendant's absence, and he was fined £lO. Subsequently it was found that owing to a confusion of affidavits the case had been called on before the defendant had been served with the necessary summonses.
