LIME-JUICE DISCARDED. UNFORTIFIED ORANGE DRINK. (Received August 19, 5.5 p.m.) Sun LONDON. Auk. 18. The Admiralty intends to replace Jack's regular ration of lime-juice with orangejuice. "Oranges possess more bottled sunshine," explains an official. They are also cheaper and not so bulky. The Admiralty spends £9OOO a year on lime-juice, which is heavily fortified with rum. The orange-juice will not be fortified.
