PLUS FOURS FOR GIRLS.

Women have followed rapidly the dress lead given by some Ametican men players who are wearing white plus fours on the courts, writes an overseas correpondent. Tennis plus fours for women are providing the tennis thrill of the moment.

The new garment is not unlike the knickers* which many American girls wear for riding. The plus fours are very baggy and roomy, and usually are made with pleats to increase the material that goes to their making. They generally button at the waist' and knees, and look decidedly businesslike. Plus fours for women, like those of men, are mostly white—either of fine flannel. Kasha or other material, A sleeveless white jumper is worn with them. The entirely satisfactory tennis wear for women, it would seem, has yet to be thought of.
