CARE OF SOLDIERS' GRAVES. A special meeting of the Otahuhu Borough Council was held on Thursday evening, the Mayor, Mr. R. B. Todd, presiding. / Objections from two property owners in regard to sewer drainage passing through their properties were considered. It was decided the plan should be adhered to in both instances. A letter was received from Miss E. M. Statham, inspector of soldiers' graves, conveying appreciation of the way in "which the graves at Otahuhu were being cared for, and expressing the wish that other cemeteries were kept in the same good order. The district health officer notified that a recent test showed that bacilli coli were k »bsent.
