TRIPLE MURDER CHARGE. SOUTH AFRICAN TO DIE.

The town clerk of a small tow n tha Orange free State, named fie Lecu a , was condemned to death for tn* murder of three members oi the Town Council. flic caso for the Crown was that De Leeuw had prepared an internal machine by which he blew up tho Town Hall and three members of the council in order to destroy evidence of hi 3 defalcations of municipal money. The evidence showed that De Leeuw had been warned that if his books were net in order within a week lie would be dismissed. He then made inquiries regarding the power of dynamite and petrol when used together.
