OCCUPANTS' NARROW ESCAPE [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT-] KAWHIA, Thursday. While a lorry laden with passengers was returning to Kawhia from Oparau late last evening it was precipitated into , the Puti stream at a sharp bend near the bridge. The lorry somersaulted down a 20ft. bank to the channel. Several of the passengers were varj' much cut about, but fortunately serl " ous injuries resulted.
