AUCKLAND ACCIDENTS.

VAN AND LORRY COLLIDE. A collision between a Ford motor delivery van belonging to Messrs. C. C. King and Son, grocers, of Mt. Eden Road, and a Chevrolet motor lorry, the property of Sir. G. Gustafsson, of A von dale, occurred in Mount Eden Road shortly after three o'clock yesterday afternoon. No one was injured--and the vehicles were only slightly damaged. A fracture of his left leg was sustained by Mr. William Brain, a manned man, aged 52, of East Tamaki Road, Ota'nuhu, yesterday morning, through the les being caught, in a sledge drawn by a horse ha was riding, and from which he was thrown. The injured man was conveyed to the Auckland Hospital and was reported late last evening to be making favourable progress.
