ITEMS OF INTEREST. "Tom Thumb" will entertain children for half an hour this evening from 6.30 from tho Auckland station. Then will follow a talk of interest to motorists by Mr. G. Campbell, one of Auckland's keenest motorists. 'A feature of the programme to be broadcast by the Wellington station this evening will be selections by the Kit-Kat dance band attached to a" newlv-formed dance club. The band will play at intervals, commencing shortly after nine o'clock. Miss Bessie Pollard, a highly talented pianist, will give selections _ from the Christchurch station this evening at 9.11 and 9.58. During the evening Mr. Raynor White will play several organ selections. Details of appetising and economicallyprepared dishes will be given over the air from the Dunedin station this afternoon by Miss 51. Puechegud. Another opportunity will be given listeners this evening to hear the orchestra of 1000 violins to be relayed from tho Brisbane Exhibition Hall by station 4QG. The relay will commence at 10.45, New Zealand time.
