representative fixture. / SECONDARY SCHOOLS MATCH. POLLARD CUP COMPETITION. The Auckland Rugby representatives will play their sixth game of the season against Manawhenua at Eden Park to-morrow. In view of the Auckland team's good record to date and the fact that Manawhenua recently defeated Wairarapa. the match is expected to create considerable interest. As a curain-raiser New Plymouth High School will pl«y Auckland Grammar School. The visitors have a tine record this season, and a bright exhibition can be looked forward to. In a match for the Pownall Trophy, which was played at Taihape to-day, the holders, Taihape, defeated Rangitikei by '22 points to 10. The 'game wa3 last, open and spectacular. For Taihape Collier scored two tries and Bellis. Ornioud and Smith one each. Leahy kicked a penalty goal and Collier converted two of the tries. Morris and Haitana, scored for Rangitikei and Gibbons converted both tries. During the matcli E. Sinclair, of Taihape, and R. Simpson, Rangitikei, retired injured. Mr. R. C. Ongley was referee.
