RETIREMENT ANNOUNCED. [BY TELEGRAPH. OWN CORRESPONDENT.] WELLINGTON. Thursday The manager of the Wellington branch of the National Insurance Company of New Zealand, Mr. Alex. Simpson, will retire from the company's service on September 30. Mr. Simpson has been granted six months' leave of absence, and will retire on superannuation. Mr. Simpson joined the company in 1896 as chief clerk at Wellington. He will be succeeded by Mr. V. M. Edgar, the manager of the company's lnvercai'giil branch
