Following are the results:— Fly-weights.—S. Purton (Greymouth), 7st 91b, beat F. Pearcy (Auckland), 7st 41b, in a scientific exhibition of boxing; N. Roebuck (Taranaki), 7st 91b, beat C'. Ilurne (Wellington), 7st 81b, on points. Feather-weights.—G. Adams (Wellington) defaulted to T. Donovan (Taranaki); W G. Leckie (Otago), Bst 121b, knocked out G. Steele (Southland), 9st, in the third round. Light-weights. —A. Jones (Southland), 9st 81b, gained a technical knock-out over T. Slattery (Auckland), 9st 101b, in the third round. Welter-weights.—E. Armishaw (Auckland), lOst 71b, beat P. J. Stone (Wellington), lOst 31b, on points; S. Hughes (Otago), lOst 61b, beat D. Richardson (North Otago), lOst 71b, on points: 0. Jaggers (Christchurch), lOst lib, beat L. W. Gee (Bay of Plenty), lOst 41b, on points. This was one of the best bouts of the night, Jaggers winning in a masterly fashion. Middle-weights.—G. Pocock (Christchurch), list 21b, beat J. Hepburn (Ilawko's Bay), list 31b; 11. Cotter (Greymouth), lOst 131b, beat R Anderson (Otago), list, on points; Pocock (Christchurch), list 21b, neat A Dickson (Southland), list 31b, on points. Light heavy-weights. —A. J Cleverly (Wellington), list 71b, beat F. Shinianski (Christchurch), list 111b, on points; C. Hogg (Auckland), list 71b, knocked out G. Spencer (Bluff), list, 111b, in the second round; J. Hepburn (IT.uvke's Bay) defaulted to A Cleverly (Wellington). Heavy-weights.—J. G. Leckie (Otago), 12st 91b, beat P. McCarthy (Auckland), 12st 81b. McCarthy was on the verge of a knock-out several times during the bout.
