MANAWHENUA V. AUCKLAND, VISITORS TO ARRIVE TO-DAY. The members of the Manawhenua Rugby team to piay Auckland at Eden Park on Saturday afternoon will arrive this morning. The Manawhenua team commenced its tour yesterday, when it defeated King Country by 8 points to 6. The New Plymouth team has this season defeated Wangamn Collegiate School. Wanganui Technical College, Hamilton High School and Te Ante College, the lastnamed being the holders of the Moascar Cup. The match should prove a great attraction to lovers of the best type of Rugby.

CHANGES MADE BY SELECTOR Mr. V. R. Meredith, sole selector for the Auckland Rugby Union, has chosen the following team to represent Auckland against Manawhenua on Saturday:— Fullback : Butler. Threequarters: Lucas. Sheen, Hook. Five-eighths: Berridge, Badeley. Halfback : Wright. Rover: Keene. Fqrwards: Batty, Cathcart, Knight, Wanoa, McWilliams, Palmer and Hadley. Reserves • Fletcher, Fell, McManus, Woods, Meyer, Paewai. Anderson was not available. The team will meet at seven o'clock tomorrow night for training at the garage, Gore Street. The team differs from that which defeated Taranaki in that Badeley replaces Meyer in the backs, and Batty replaces Fletfcher in the forwards.
