Courtney, of the Royal Air Force, who hopes to fly to America and back with Navigating-Officer Downey and Engineer R. F. I/ittle, made trial flights to-day and tested his wireless apparatus. Captain Courtney found that the vibration in the receiving set hadbeen successfully overcome, and he said there was now no cause for delay except the weather.
