DISAPPEARS FROM HANKOW.
FEARS FELT FOR HIS SAFETY.

The special correspondent of the Times,' Mr. Riely, disappeared from Hankow on Saturday without- leaving any notification as to his destination, which is still unknown. Apprehension is felt for his safety.
BORODIN TO LEAVE.
HANKOW ANNOUNCEMENT.
A. and N.Z. SHANGHAI, July 25. A British naval wireless message from Hankow says Jacob Borodin, the Soviet adviser to the Cantonese, and Mr. Eugene Chen, Cantonese Foreign Minister, have returned from Ruling, in the Kiangsi province, south-east of Hankow. Mr. Chen announces that Borodin will leave Hankow permanently in the near future. * The, Nanking Conservative Nationalist Governnient is offering a reward of 100,000 dollars to anyone who will cause the arrest of Borodin.
Conditions in the Yangtse Valley continue to be quiet.
