PRISONER FOUND DEAD.
AN INMATE OF MOUNT EDEN.
A prisoner at the Auckland prison, Joseph William McLeod, aged 44, who was awaiting trial at the next session of the Supreme Court in Hamilton on a charge of indecent assault, was found dead in his cell at about 1 p.m. yesterday.
•A warder who opened the cell immediately after the luncheon adjournment made the discovery.. McLeod was-found hanging juis fefa wi*§ extinct.
