Albumin.—The crosscut west-, heading' .toward t-ho Sons of Freedom reef, has been extended from'24oft.. to'2s7ft. We are still passing through a very hard class of country. A-little wa'ter is again shoWing in a few of th® heads, and we are hoping this may be an indication that we are Hearing the western side of the ; bar. Stopinc over the intermediate level on the footwnll branch has been continued. The reef ha 3 increased in size and is now showing an average width of Sfft. in the ba»ck- ef the stope.. It is a solid body of ore, carrying, a splendid class of mineral and encased in a good class of country . rock.The- reef now has not swt as much underlie as that mentioned in last week's report. In ihe southern end of the stope at each breaking down nice blotches of gold are seen. Kuranui.—The drive east on the leader near the Sho'tover shaft has been advanced 7ft. for the week, making a total of 19ft. At 16ft. a small break came across and disturbed the leader; but it is now making into a nice body of ore again, and m encased in a much, better class of country for gold. The rise on Hunt's has been advanced, 6ft. for the week, making a total of 13ft. .i lie reef still maintains its size and looks very promising. * *" '
