Wairoa Co-operative Dairy Company, Ltd., to be presented to shareholders at the annual,; meeting, shows the progress of. the North-., ern Wairoa during the past 25 years is amply, reflected in the operations of the company. Starting in 1902 with 84 sup-- ; pliers, the company made 64.50 tons of ; ' butter, for which at 10,38 d per lb. butter-. fat, the suppliers received £4532 16s 9d c < This year's figures show that there were 683 suppliers, there was a record output-, of 1943.44 tons of the price for, butter-fat was 14.58 d per lb. and the total paid to suppliers £234,996 19s Aid. v Only twice has this> distribution, been exceeded—in 1921, when it was £255,151 18s sd, with butter-fat at 29.00 d per lb., and in 1924, when, with butter-iat at 18.37 d per lb., it was £235,798 2s 2d t llie total amount of butter made by th&company during the 25 years amounts to. 17,848.85 tons, and amounts paid to sup-, pliers to £2,405,984" 0s Id. Downs, £l5O in con.sideratip.n of valuable services rendered to the company, during the past 16 years." Mr. R. E. Clements to move: "That tha company purchase the Northern Wairoa Lime Company's lime works and plant at Whakapirau for the sum of £2950 lis lOd, as offered to the directors by a deputation to the board on July 14, 1927." , s : . , Messrs.
