FINED FOR SPEEDING.

[BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] PAPAKURA, Monday. Further prosecutions of motorists for speeding on the Great South Road at Papakura and Manurewa were dealt with in the Papakura Police Court to-day. A. E. Heighway, whose speed was given by the traffic inspector for the Manurewa Town Board, Mr. D. Fletcher, as 40 miles an hour, was fined £3 and costs, 14s. R. Fulton and K. R. Kelsey, who were also prosecuted by the Manurewa inspector, were each fined £2 and costs, 14s. • The following, who were prosecuted by the Papakura inspector, Mr. J. E. Morilleau,» for travelling at 35 miles art hour, were each fined £2 and costs, £1 13s lOd: J. E. Birtley, D. Campbell, B. E. Hart, R. Hastedt, H. Rowe, J. Stringer and R. Watson.
