STEADY GROWTH OF TRADE. [BY TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.] WANGANUT, Sunday. The Wanganui grading stores are steadily developing, and dairy companies which used to make Wellington their port now contemplate shipping through Wanganui. At a meeting of the Wanganui Harbour Board last evening it was reported that dairy factories 011 the other side of the Manawatu Gorge could ship cheaper through Wanganui than Wellington and were going to eta so next season.
