PRESENTATION OF GAVEL. [by telegraph.—own correspondent.] GISBORNE, Sunday. The manager of the Canadian Soccer team, Mr. J. Adam, who is a keen Rotarian, has presented a silver-mounted whale's tooth, in the form of a gavel, to the Gisborne Rotary Club, on behalf of the Rotary Club of yictoria.
