MOTOR-CAR OVER BANK.
FALL OF HUNDRED FEET. OCCUPANTS* NARROW ESCAPE. [BY TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT. ] OPOTIKI, Saturday. A large service motor-car travelling from Opotiki to Motu last evening fell 100 ft. after going over the bank at a sharp bend in the road near Caesar's Station. The driver, F. Arden, and the passengers escaped with sevore shock, cuts and bruises. They were taken to Motu and attended by the district nurse. The car is now 300 ft. down from the road, and is damaged beyond repair.
