ELECTORAL BOUNDARIES.

LODGMENT OF OBJECTIONS. PROTESTS FROM NORTH ISLAND. [by telegraph.—press association.] WELLINGTON, Wednesday. The time limit for the lodgment of objections to recommendations made by the Representation Commissions was reached on Tuesday. The principal objections have come from the Stratford West Riding, which is appealing against being included in the Egmont electoral district; the mining districts about Mercer, which prefer to be included in Thames, rather than be incorporated with Tauranga; and from the Eden, Raghn and Waitomo districts. The commissions will meet on July 4 f" consider the protests.
