PRODUCE STORE BURNED.
HEAVY LOSS SUSTAINED. [BY TELEGRAPH. —FRESS ASSOCIATION.] BLENHEIM. Wednesday. A spectacular fire occurred at 1.30 o'clock this morning, when a large produce store filled with chaff, barley, cowgrass and sundries, was destroyed. It was a building of corrugated iron, owned by the Wairau River Board, and insured for £1750. The contents Were insured for £4OOO in the Commercial Union Office. Mr. A. M. Corry, produce merchant, the occupier of the building, estimates -his loss «4 £2OOO-.
